The location was great, within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, and just a 15-minute drive from Pelican Bay Aquatic Center; the room was practical and the bed was incredibly comfy.

We thoroughly enjoyed being here. Have spent here 1 night and our guest room was recently renovated. The staff were EXCELLENT and really kind all the time. The hotel was in a marvellous position close enough to a square that had easily accessible free parking, the centre of the town and the restaurant on a Sunday night. Ate at Klemm's Smoke Haus, it's just a pleasant stroll away from the venue.

I recently stayed at Hotel De France for a few nights while exploring the charming town. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the old town and the river. The hotel offers free parking on a nearby square, which was very convenient. Although the decor in the rooms was a bit dated, they were spacious, clean, and functional. The public areas of the hotel were better maintained. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of choices and the staff were welcoming.
I would recommend this hotel.

It was near the centre of town and had easily accessible free parking. Our room was comfortable, just like the renovated one in a previous experience. the bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. the breakfast offered a full selection of food, including breads, cakes, meats, cheeses, eggs. the service was exceptional, as staff members were helpful with suggestions for the area, as noted in other reviews.
We did experience some noise disturbance at night, as mentioned in another review about the loud sound of dropping items.

stayed in this town before but De France was a pleasant surprise! The renovated room was small but clean and comfy. Loved the comfy bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was worth it with a full selection of food. Great for a cycling trip with a perfect garage for bike storage!
noisy at night with constant loud noise

We loved the warm welcome and delicious evening meal on the terrace overlooking the square. The family room was perfect for us with its spacious size, bunk bed, and curtains for privacy. The hotel's location in the centre of the town made it easy to walk to the old town and the river. We also appreciated the free parking available nearby.
No complaints.

Ken
The hotel had a great breakfast buffet with plenty of options to choose from. The location was convenient for exploring the town and was near a free parking lot.
The room was outdated and not well-maintained. The bathroom was particularly disappointing with old fixtures and unattractive tiles.

We spent our Christmas holidays in a cozy hotel in a charming town in France. the hotel was ideally situated near the center of the town, making it very easy to explore. We enjoyed spending evenings on the terrace, taking in the stunning views of the square. the atmosphere was lively and convivial, creating a wonderful festive ambiance. the room was spacious, perfect for our family of four. the bunk bed with curtains was a real hit with the girls and added to the feeling of having our own little home for the holidays.
Although the breakfast had a selection of delicious food, we felt it was a little pricey for what it was. our room overlooked a busy road and we could hear traffic noise at times.
